Bangkok: Talon Academy – Samong Tun emerges as champions of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Administrative Organization Cup, Year 3. Mrs. Somsong Phancharoenworakul, President of the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO), inaugurated the “Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya PAO E-Sport Cup 2025” at Central Ayutthaya Shopping Center on August 12. The event featured a prize pool of 107,000 baht and saw participation from over 500 athletes nationwide. Mr. Sathit Phanchaun, Permanent Secretary of the PAO, delivered the opening address.
According to Thai News Agency, the competition was divided into two categories: the Open category for gamers nationwide, and the Youth category for local students. Talon Academy clinched the championship in the Open category, earning a trophy and 40,000 baht. The team comprised Pongdanai Thanawutthipong, Pongpol Yimuam, Peerawat Piachart, Arut Jamras, and Phurin Thitiphongphanit. FIFA E-SPORTS and Left by someone secured second and third places, receiving 20,000 and 10,000 baht respectively.
In the Youth category, Team Samong Tun claimed the championship, winning 20,000 baht. The team included Nattawat Ngamsomso, Chatchai Puttimani, Thawin Chaiyacharoen, Phasakon Chomchan, and Siwarit Setthisombat. Phiratcha Esportxstay36 and Double Touch took second and third places with prizes of 10,000 and 5,000 baht. Ayutthaya University School received an honorable mention with a 2,000 baht prize.
Mrs. Somsong Pancharoenworakul expressed pride in the competition’s success, highlighting the participation of 32 teams in the youth category and 64 teams in the all-age category. She emphasized the event’s role in skill development and its potential to foster the nation’s future talents. She encouraged the youth to contribute ideas for the province’s improvement, reaffirming the PAO’s commitment to the province’s development.
The champions from Team Samong Tun shared their excitement, citing confidence and rigorous practice as key to their victory. They expressed a desire to advance to the pro league and thanked the organizers for providing a platform to showcase local talent.
Similarly, Talon Academy expressed satisfaction with their win, acknowledging the event’s quality and expressing eagerness to participate in future competitions.
