Bangkok: The Meteorological Department has announced a slight drop in temperatures across northern Thailand, accompanied by strong winds. This weather change will bring cool mornings to the North and Northeast regions, with some rain expected in the western parts of the North and Central regions. Residents of Bangkok and its vicinity can also anticipate a slight decrease in temperature, along with strong winds.

According to Thai News Agency, the temperature forecast for the next 24 hours indicates that a high-pressure area or moderate cold air mass from China will impact the upper part of Thailand and the South China Sea. This will result in a slight temperature drop in these areas, with cool and windy conditions in the morning across the North and Northeast regions. Some rain is expected in the Northeast and the western parts of the North and Central regions. The public is advised to take precautions for their health due to the changing weather, and farmers are urged to prepare for potential damage to crops
from the impending rain.

The northeast monsoon currently affecting the Gulf of Thailand and the South will lead to thunderstorms in some areas. The Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea will experience moderate waves, approximately 1 meter high, with waves exceeding 2 meters in areas experiencing thunderstorms. Mariners are advised to avoid sailing in these stormy conditions.

Additionally, Typhoon ‘Man-Yi’ is projected to approach Hainan Island, China, between November 19-20, 2024, with a likely gradual weakening. Travelers planning to visit the area are encouraged to monitor weather updates before their journey during this period.

For Bangkok and the surrounding areas, temperatures are expected to decrease slightly, accompanied by strong winds. The minimum temperature is forecasted to be between 24-26 degrees Celsius, with maximum temperatures reaching 33-35 degrees Celsius.
