Bangkok: Thai stocks closed this morning down 4.59 points, with the Stock Exchange of Thailand ending at 1,105.42 points, a decrease of 0.41%. The trading value was approximately 18,339 million baht.
According to Thai News Agency, analysts observed that the Thai stock market experienced fluctuations within a narrow range due to the absence of new factors influencing the market. Attention has shifted towards the progress of US trade negotiations, especially following the confirmation that there would be no 90-day extension. Domestically, there was significant selling pressure on media and power plant stocks, although speculative buying in bank earnings provided some support to the market. Analysts predict that the afternoon trading trend will likely continue to fluctuate sideways, with resistance expected at 1,110 points and support at 1,090 points.
