Thai Yamaha received the award of honor as ‘Assistant to the Royal Forest Department in the field of forest resource restoration and development’ on the 128th anniversary of the Royal Forest Department.


Mr. Phongsathon Eumongkolchai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., received the honor shield award ‘Assistant to the Royal Forest Department, Forest Resource Restoration and Development Branch’ for the second consecutive year from Dr. Chalermchai Sri-on, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.

This award is an honor for Thai Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. to support the Royal Forest Department’s operations to promote the increase of forest areas and the completeness of the area, including being an organization that participates in the reforestation project to develop voluntary greenhouse gas reduction according to the Thai standard (T-VER) to assess carbon credits in the Mae Raka National Forest Reserve, Khao Khieo National Forest Reserve, Khao Sawang National Forest Reserve, and Khlong Huai Sai National Forest Reserve, Phran Kratai District, Kamphaeng Phet Province, covering a total area of ??more than 1,200 rai, which began operations in 2023, creating pride for the organizat
ion and reaffirming its intention to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 from promoting sustainable forest conservation.

The award ceremony was held at the Royal Forest Department’s 128th Anniversary Ceremony at Meeting Room 1, Thiamkhamkrit Building, Royal Forest Department.
