Thawee shared his views following a meeting with Chaikasem, the prime ministerial candidate for the Pheu Thai Party, at Chaikasem’s residence. Highlighting Chaikasem’s good health and sharpness in addressing various issues, Thawee emphasized that Chaikasem’s adherence to the rule of law is a testament to his leadership abilities.
According to Thai News Agency, Thawee noted that Chaikasem’s experience as a former Minister of Justice and his background as an international lawyer have earned him respect and admiration within the Ministry of Justice. Officials continue to hold Chaikasem in high regard due to his commitment to justice and lawful governance. Thawee stated that in times of transition and conflict, prioritizing justice is crucial, and he believes Chaikasem is an excellent candidate to lead the country during such periods.
