At 5:10 p.m. today (11 October), at the 2nd Military Airport, Wing 6, reporters reported that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, and her entourage returned from a mission to attend the ASEAN Summit in Laos without answering media questions about the death of a Thai worker in Israel and the case of the direct sales company, The Icon Group. The Prime Minister smiled and greeted her with the word “Sabai Dee” in Lao, meaning hello, and admitted that he was tired before getting in his car to return immediately.
Then, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, the government spokesman, revealed that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, had received a report about the death of a Thai person in Israel. She had
ordered the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to monitor the situation periodically and warn Thai people living near the risk areas. She urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to report the situation every hour, especially the current situation. At the same time, the Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families of the victims. Currently, information is being collected on who the deceased is, in which province they are, and who their relatives are.
At the same time, the Prime Minister also acknowledged the report on domestic crimes and business activities of famous companies from Pol. Gen. Kittirat Panphet who reported to the Prime Minister about the current crime situation, which is a pyramid scheme of The Icon Group Company. The Prime Minister has acknowledged this and has instructed the National Police Chief to closely monitor and take action in order to create a standard for solving problems, so that processes of this nature increase and there are other agencies involved in money laundering.
