Prime Minister Yingluck” invites the cabinet to make merit in the morning before carrying out the second day’s mission in Mae Sai area.

Reporters reported on the second day of Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra’s mission, Prime Minister, in her inspection trip to Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai provinces between 27-28 September that after the Prime Minister and her entourage slept overnight in Chiang Rai province, on the same morning (28 September) before starting her mission, the Prime Minister, along with Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, Ms. Thirarat Samretwanich, Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Decha Isara Khaothong, Deputy Minister of Public Health, Ms. Manoporn Charoensri, Deputy Minister of Transport, and General Nattapol Nakphanit, Deputy Minister of D
efense, jointly offered alms to 9 monks at Le Meridien Chiang Rai Hotel, which was their accommodation.

While the first morning mission at 9:30 a.m., the Prime Minister went to assess the situation and monitor the rehabilitation of the affected areas after the flood at Ban Ko Sai and Ban Pha Chom, Mae Sai Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province. The Prime Minister brought diapers, bought with his own money, to give to flood victims in the area. Then at 10:00 a.m., the Prime Minister met and gave encouragement and financial assistance to the flood victims at Wat Phrommawihan, Wiang Pang Kham Subdistrict, Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.
