The Prime Minister monitors the flood situation in Chiang Mai.


The Prime Minister traveled to Chiang Mai Province to inspect the flood situation in the community and urged urgent rehabilitation, especially in terms of mental health.

Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister and her team traveled to inspect the flood situation in the community area in Chiang Mai Province. The Governor of Chiang Mai welcomed her. The first point was to monitor the flood situation in the community area at the water level measurement station P1 at the foot of Nawarat Bridge, which has a special water level measurement point. The water level at 1:00 p.m. was 2.70 meters, which is decreasing gradually compared to this morning.

The Prime Minister said that the people did not expect this kind of event to happen, did not expect the water to spread this much, and asked the public health department to restore the people’s minds. They may have to invite the governor of Chiang Mai to discuss the model system from the beginning, in terms of helping the flood situation throughout the country.

er that, Ms. Paethongtarn took a photo with officials and people at the Chiang Mai Municipality’s Special Flood Prevention and Mitigation Center, where a group of Chiang Mai Red Shirts were waiting to welcome and greet the Prime Minister.

Then walk to meet the vulnerable people affected by the flood situation at Wat Muang Sat Luang, where there are people, volunteer teams, village health volunteers, and municipality teams waiting to welcome them.
