Three Siblings Attacked by Local Teenagers at Ayutthaya Pub

Ayutthaya: Three siblings who visited a well-known pub in Ayutthaya were attacked by local teenagers, resulting in serious injuries to the eldest brother. Their mother has vowed to file a police complaint.

According to Thai News Agency, the violent altercation was captured on a mobile phone by a 16-year-old accompanying the injured group. The footage shows attempts by security personnel to intervene as the siblings tried to leave, only to be pursued by the teenagers. The siblings, stating they were just 20 years old and not looking for trouble, were assaulted, with one of the attackers confronting the young videographer, demanding the deletion of the footage.

Reporters later visited the injured siblings in Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Mr. Anirut (21) and Mr. Sorayut (20) displayed bruises around their eyes, faces, and bodies. Their older brother, Mr. Nattawut (22), suffered severe injuries, including broken jaws and a nose, necessitating hospitalization and surgery at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Hospital.

Mr. Anirut recounted the events, revealing that they and two friends had been at the pub since 9 pm on July 11. Although they felt observed by a group of 5-6 individuals in the bathroom, no issues arose inside the venue. However, around 1:30 am, as they left, they were confronted by the perpetrators outside, leading to a violent assault where Mr. Nattawut was severely beaten and the siblings were attacked when trying to help.

Busaya, the siblings’ mother, expressed her distress upon seeing her eldest son’s condition at the hospital. She emphasized her sons had no prior conflicts and was shocked by the attack. She confirmed her intent to pursue the matter legally and has already filed a complaint with the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Police Station.
