Trang: The atmosphere of the “Run Away from the Crematorium, 2nd Time” activity was lively! 300 runners joined forces to run amidst a spooky atmosphere, checking in to dress up as ghosts and take pictures in front of the crematorium, having fun.

According to Thai News Agency, hundreds of runners gathered in front of the crematorium of Wat Huai Yot, Huai Yot District, Trang Province, for the ‘Run Away from the Crematorium 2024’ event, organized under the slogan ‘If you love someone, invite them to run. If you really love someone, let’s run together. It’s good for your heart. Let’s care about your health together.’ The atmosphere was filled with fun and goosebumps from the spooky decorations of the venue. Most of the runners wore black. Some even dressed up as ghosts to join the run, adding color and novelty to the event. This event attracted the attention of local residents and over 300 runners from nearby provinces.

Mr. Thawatchai Worapongphat, Mayor of Huai Yot Subdistrict Municipality, said that this yea
r is the second year that the event is being held to run away from the crematorium. Huai Yot Subdistrict Municipality recently renovated the crematorium, so it was used as the starting point for this year’s activity. It is also considered a way for the people to exercise and maintain their health in order to have a long life. The starting point for the release is actually in front of the crematorium, which is a bit creepy. This year, there were more than 300 participants. They started from in front of the crematorium at Wat Huai Yot and went to the Khuan Nang Kham Sports Stadium, a distance of about 4.5 kilometers.

Participants expressed their appreciation for the fun and warm atmosphere of the event and confirmed that they will return to participate in the event every year.
