Traffic Disruption in Chiang Mai and Phichit Due to Flooding

Bangkok: The Department of Highways has reported that traffic is currently impassable in two areas due to severe flooding and landslides. The affected routes are located in Chiang Mai and Phichit provinces. For directions and further assistance, the public is encouraged to contact the hotline at 1586.

According to Thai News Agency, the Department of Highways provided an update on the situation as of October 5, 2025, at 1:00 PM. In Chiang Mai, Highway 1322, specifically the section between km. 126+900 to 126+950 in Chiang Dao District, is impassable. A detour has been set up from the Rin Luang intersection using Highway 1178 and local routes to rejoin Highway 1322. In Phichit, Highway 1313 between km. 14+400 to 14+510 in Taphan Hin District is affected, with a bypass available via several local roads and bridges.
