Treasury Department Recommends New Apps for Crown Property Rent Payments

Bangkok: The Treasury Department has announced the launch of three new applications designed to streamline the process of paying rent on Crown property and accessing related services. These apps-TRD Smart Pay, TRD Property Valuation, and TRD e-Commerce-aim to enhance efficiency and accessibility for users, providing a range of services related to Crown property management.

According to Thai News Agency, the Treasury Department, represented by spokesman Mr. Boonchob Wisetpreecha, has been actively developing digital technology systems to boost government service delivery. This initiative is expected to save time and reduce travel expenses for users dealing with government business, by facilitating easier access to services through mobile applications.

TRD Smart Pay is designed to allow Crown property tenants to pay rent conveniently from any location. The app supports a variety of services, including checking rental agreements, lease details, and making payments via credit/debit cards or through several leading financial institutions free of charge. Users can also submit requests for actions like transfer of rights and lease boundary surveys, while an automated notification system keeps tenants informed with the latest updates.

TRD Property Valuation provides a platform for users to easily access assessed prices of land, buildings, and condominiums. By entering a title deed number, users can retrieve detailed property valuation information, complete with maps showing assessed prices.

TRD e-Commerce enables users to purchase and reserve coins and coin products from the Treasury Department efficiently and securely. The app offers multiple payment options, such as credit/debit card, Krungthai Bank account, QR Code, and Krungthai Bank counters, ensuring convenience and safety for users.

Mr. Boonchob emphasized that these applications were developed to offer more convenient, faster services to the public, significantly reducing travel-related expenses. Interested individuals can download the applications for free on both iOS and Android platforms. For further assistance, the Treasury Department Call Center is available at 02 059 4999.
