True Bangkok United Signs Veteran Striker Teerasil Dangda

Bangkok: True Bangkok United Club has officially signed Teerasil Dangda, a striker for the Thai national team, to join the team, while Jaroensak Wongkorn has returned to join the BG Pathum United team to fight in the Thai League 2025/26 season.

According to Thai News Agency, “Mui” Teerasil Dangda, a 37-year-old striker, has announced his move to join “Team Angels” True Bangkok United, where he will wear the number 10 shirt and prepare to compete in the Thai League 2025/26 season. Mui started making a name for himself with Muangthong United and led the team to win the Thai League 4 times and won the Thai League Top Scorer award in 2012.

In terms of overseas experience, he has played in La Liga in Spain with Almeria, as well as in J-League in Japan with Sanfrecce Hiroshima and Shimizu S-Pulse before moving back to play with BG Pathum United since 2021 until his contract expired after the end of last season. At the national team level, Mui Teerasil has played for the Thai national team 128 times, scoring 68 go
als, leading the team to win the ASEAN Championship 3 times, including the King’s Cup in 2016, and also setting a record as the top scorer in the ASEAN Football Championship tournament 5 times. As for his performance in the Thai League, he has scored 146 goals, only 13 goals away from becoming the all-time top scorer in the Thai League.

On the other hand, ‘Teh’ Charoensak Wongkorn, the Thai national team’s forward, has returned to join BG Pathum United to compete in the 2025/26 Thai League season. Charoensak moved to join ‘The Rabbit’ in the 2024/25 season and in the second half of the season, was loaned out to Cerezo Osaka in the J-League 1. He had the opportunity to play for the team in the 2025 J-League YBC Levain Cup, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist. Most recently, he returned to join BG Pathum to compete in the Thai League and 4 other cup competitions.
