Gyeongju: The Thai and New Zealand Prime Ministers met by chance in the middle of Gyeongju City, greeting each other and taking photos in a friendly manner.
According to Thai News Agency, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who was attending the 32nd Special Economic Zone Leaders’ Meeting and related meetings, was walking to his car after lunch when he unexpectedly encountered New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon. Luxon was on his way to lunch in Gyeongju, South Korea, creating an unplanned meeting between the two leaders.
Reporters noted that the encounter was marked by a warm exchange. The two Prime Ministers greeted each other, shook hands, and shared a brief friendly conversation. They also posed for photos, capturing the spontaneous moment before parting ways to continue with their respective schedules.
