Victims File Lawsuit Against Fake Military Doctor Who Tricked Them Into Dating Him, Resulting in Loss of Millions of Baht.

Bangkok: A woman victim has filed a complaint to the Sai Mai Must Survive page, revealing she was deceived into dating a 32-year-old man who falsely claimed to be a military doctor, leading to her losing millions of baht.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Noey, aged 27, and Ms. Bell, aged 29, representing the victims deceived by Mr. Bank, a 32-year-old impersonator, have taken legal action. They filed a complaint with Mr. Ekkapop Lueangprasert, founder of the Sai Mai Must Survive page, seeking justice against the fraudulent claims of Mr. Bank.

Ms. Noey recounted that in October 2019, she met Mr. Bank through a dating application. They began a relationship, during which Mr. Bank falsely claimed to be a military doctor at a hospital in the Bang Na area. Over five years, she unknowingly covered Mr. Bank’s daily expenses, resulting in a loss exceeding 1 million baht. Mr. Bank also acquired a car, motorcycle, and eight credit cards, all facilitated by a woman. Despite facing threats, including to her cat, Ms. N
oey refrained from involving the police until deciding to end the relationship due to financial strain.

Following the end of his relationship with Ms. Noey, Mr. Bank pursued Ms. Bell for six months, exhibiting similar manipulative behavior. He allegedly had her shoulder his daily expenses, citing delays in his salary due to unsigned documents. In September, Mr. Bank ordained as a monk in Saraburi Province, inviting Ms. Bell and two other women to the ceremony, deceitfully labeling each woman as his personal secretary. Approximately two months ago, Ms. Bell discovered Mr. Bank’s deceitful activities and confronted him, prompting threats upon requesting a breakup.

Both victims highlighted Mr. Bank’s tendency to target female medical personnel. He manipulated them into attending a fortune-binding ceremony at a palace in Saraburi Province, conducted by a supposed Brahmin. Post-ceremony, the victims experienced adverse changes in their careers and financial situations.

Mr. Ekkapop stated that Mr. Bank’s actions
were premeditated, constituting fraud. He intends to collaborate with Samrong Nuea Police Station, where the complaint was lodged, and urges other victims deceived by Mr. Bank to reach out to the Sai Mai Must Survive page for further assistance.
