Vietnamese Agricultural and Processed Food Showcased at World Food India 2023

NEW DELHI — World Food India (WFI) 2023, a significant food fair, commenced in New Delhi on November 3, featuring over 30 Vietnamese enterprises showcasing their agricultural products and processed food.

According to Vietnam News Agency, who spoke at the opening of the Vietnamese pavilion, Vietnam has been designated as one of the three “focus countries” at WFI 2023, with a dedicated space of 200 square meters. Ambassador Hai accentuated the burgeoning trade ties between Vietnam and India, noting the vast potential of the Indian food market for Vietnamese companies.

The exhibition saw the attendance of the Indian Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying, Parshottam Rupala, who visited the Vietnamese pavilion and acknowledged the quality of Vietnamese products on display.

A seminar scheduled for November 5 is poised to further highlight the potential of Vietnamese agricultural products and processed food, providing a platform for Vietnamese enterprises to forge connections with Indian counterparts in the industry.

WFI 2023, spanning three days, has drawn the participation of 1,200 exhibitors, including 146 international corporations. The event has also welcomed ministerial delegations from 19 countries and territories. As part of the event’s extensive program, over 50 workshops featuring more than 200 speakers are set to take place.
