Vietnamese Overseas Network Strengthens Advocacy for Maritime Interests.

Berlin: The Liaison Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Europe ‘For Vietnam’s seas and islands’ has transferred its rotating chairmanship to the Truong Sa club in Germany. Established on July 2, 2022, the committee, led by Chairwoman of the Hoang Sa-Truong Sa club in Poland, Cao Hong Vinh, has united Vietnamese communities across 12 European countries and rallied international friends to advocate for Vietnam’s maritime interests.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Truong Sa club in Germany, founded in 2017, holds the distinction of being the first Vietnamese sea and island club in Europe. The club’s new leadership role signifies the growing involvement and commitment of the Vietnamese diaspora in Europe toward supporting Vietnam’s sovereignty and maritime rights.
