‘View’ Kunlavut Vitidsarn, Olympic silver medalist hero, auctions off his second Paris Games badminton competition shirt and travels to thank sponsors.
Baanthongyod Badminton Club brought ‘View’ Kunlavut Vitidsarn, the 23-year-old world No. 4, the winner of the silver medal in men’s singles at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, along with ‘May’ Ratchanok Intanon, a Thai national female badminton player who made it to the last 8 of the Olympic Games, to meet with Mr. Phurit Bhirombhakdi, CEO of Boon Rawd Brewery Co., Ltd., to thank them for supporting the club since 2013 until View Kunlavut was successful in winning the silver medal in men’s singles at the 2024 Olympic Games, the first medal for Thailand in badminton in 32 years, and has also created many other successes, such as winning the first Thai men’s singles championship at the 2023 Badminton World Championship in Denmark.
He also won the World Junior Championship three times in a row in 2017, 2018 and 2019, with staff warmly welcoming him at
Singha Complex, Petchburi Road, Bangkok. View Kulwut’s next event is the Japan Open from August 20-25, 2024 in Yokohama, Japan.
Meanwhile, View Kulwut also auctioned off the second red jersey after closing the auction for the first yellow jersey yesterday at 268,888 baht, to use all proceeds to buy sports equipment for children in need. Today, View posted the auction for the second jersey via the Kunlavut Vitidsarn-Kulwut Vitidsarn fan page. The auction will start at 9:00 a.m. and will end on August 15 at 6:00 p.m. There was a bid at 11:05 a.m. for 200,000 baht.
