Bangkok: The extortion case involving a demand for 20 million baht from Boss Di Icon is awaiting further witness testimony. According to Pol. Maj. Gen. Charoonkiat Pankaew, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), the investigation requires more time as 1-2 additional witnesses need to be questioned.

According to Thai News Agency, the case centers around an audio clip featuring Ms. Krisanong Suwanwong, the director of the Anti-Corruption News Center and a former actress. The clip allegedly captures her demanding money and inviting Boss Di Icon to appear on a famous show. Investigators must also question Boss Paul in prison regarding the extortion attempt by Ms. Krisanong and the former actor. The police are working to complete the investigation within the week, as previously reported.
