Doha: Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jasim Al-Thani hosted a welcome ceremony for his Vietnamese counterpart Pham Minh Chinh at the Amiri Diwan Palace in Doha on October 31. The Vietnamese PM is paying an official visit to the Middle East country, which lasts to November 1.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and Qatar. During the visit, both leaders are expected to discuss various bilateral issues, focusing on trade, investment, and cooperation in energy, agriculture, and education sectors.
