Nonthaburi: A 19-year-old female student has filed a police complaint against her boyfriend, a military lieutenant, accusing him of severe physical assault. The incident reportedly occurred after the woman found her boyfriend with another woman at his dormitory in the Pak Kret area.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. A (pseudonym) approached the Pak Kret Police Station to report the alleged assault by her boyfriend, who serves as a lieutenant in the Army Transport Department. The altercation took place when Ms. A unexpectedly returned to her boyfriend’s dormitory and discovered him with another woman. In a fit of anger, she allegedly slapped the woman before attempting to resolve the situation with her boyfriend. However, the discussion escalated, leading to the boyfriend allegedly punching Ms. A in the face, resulting in multiple bruises.

Following the incident, Ms. A reached out to the Paveena Foundation, seeking assistance due to concerns about her safety and the potential influence of her boyfriend’s mi
litary position on the investigation. She expressed her trust in the foundation’s ability to support victims in distressing situations.
