Bangkok: Bang Khen Police Station arrested a 27-year-old man with crystal meth and ketamine hidden in a foam box. He confessed to buying it from a foreigner and selling it to customers for 300 baht per gram. Bang Khen Police Station detained Mr. Nawin, 27, with 202.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 15.50 grams of ketamine in front of his house on Soi Phahonyothin 34, Senanikhom Subdistrict, Chatuchak District, Bangkok.
According to Thai News Agency, police received a tip-off about a house in Soi Phahonyothin 34 being used for drug activities. Upon investigation, they discovered a man behaving suspiciously in front of the house. A search revealed crystal meth and ketamine in plastic bags. Further inspection led them to a foam cooler box sealed with tape. Inside, they found French fries concealing additional drugs, which were seized as evidence.
The suspect admitted ownership of the ketamine and crystal meth. He disclosed that he purchased them from a dark-skinned foreigner in the Sukhumvit area for 32,000 baht, intending to sell them at 300 baht per gram. He had been engaged in this activity for several months before his arrest.
Initially, the suspect was charged with possession of Category 1 narcotics (ice-ketamine) with intent to sell. He was taken with the evidence to Bang Khen Police Station for further legal proceedings.
