Army Commander Inspects Flood Relief Efforts in Mae Sai Amid Local Support

Mae Sai: The Army Commander recently visited Mae Sai in Chiang Rai Province to evaluate the efforts of troops working in flood-affected areas. During his visit, locals displayed signs of encouragement, urging the soldiers to continue addressing the flooding issues and the challenges at the Thai-Cambodian border.

According to Thai News Agency, General Pana Klaewplodthuk, the Army Commander, traveled to Chiang Rai Province to oversee the troops engaged in flood relief missions. He interacted with residents who expressed their gratitude by holding signs thanking the soldiers for their assistance during the floods. The signs also conveyed support for the Army Commander’s efforts in tackling the ongoing border issues between Thailand and Cambodia.

The visit aimed to inspect the personnel assisting residents in the Mae Sai area and to provide encouragement to those affected by the floods. This mission had been planned prior to the recent clash at the Chong Bok border in Ubon Ratchathani Province.
