Sattahip: Five families of those killed in the Cambodian bombing gathered to hold a cremation ceremony facilitated by the Naval Fleet. The ceremony took place in Sattahip Bay, where the families scattered the ashes of their loved ones.
According to Thai News Agency, the families involved in the ceremony were those of the victims from the July 25th Cambodian bombings. The Prachan family, who lost Ms. Rungrat, Ms. Thaksaporn, and Mr. Phongsapat, were among those present. Other families included that of Mr. Kittisak Khamwang, Ms. Arunrat Wansri, Mr. Somsri Lapbun, and Ms. Sawitree Onthuang. They brought the ashes from Sisaket Province to the Naval Base in Sattahip Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, for the scattering ceremony.
The Naval Base arranged accommodations and transportation for the families to Sattahip Bay, where the funeral rites were performed. The ceremony was conducted smoothly, with a sense of dignity. The families expressed that even a month after the tragedy, they are still struggling to come to terms with their loss, particularly the Prachan family, who mourn the loss of a wife and two children.
