Bangkok: ‘Chef Cares’ has unveiled seven new products aimed at highlighting Thai fruits at the THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025 event. The initiative is part of the ‘From the Nature’s Finest Sources’ concept, which seeks to showcase the potential of Thai food soft power to an international audience.
According to Thai News Agency, Mrs. Marisa Chearavanont, founder of Chef Cares Foundation and CEO of the Chef Cares Project, announced that this year Chef Cares is participating in THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025, taking place from May 27-31, 2025, at Challenger Hall 2, Impact Muang Thong Thani. The event will focus on products derived from premium natural sources to create quality offerings.
The exhibition will feature processed fruit products that emphasize Thainess and health benefits. Highlights include frozen skewers of Nam Dok Mai mangoes, chocolate-covered Nam Dok Mai mangoes, mango sticky rice, and easy-to-open coconuts. Additionally, the booth of Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) will display the global reach of Thai street food through products like Jay Fai’s Sriracha chili sauce, instant Pad Thai, instant Pad Kee Mao, and instant Khao Soi, which were co-developed with Jay Fai.
Mrs. Marisa explained that this year’s showcased products are primarily focused on exports. Products like Frozen Mango Sticks, Frozen Chocolate-Dipped Mango Sticks, and Mango Sticky Rice are already on sale. Chef Cares has expanded its exports to six countries: Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Romania, and the United States. These regions are high-potential markets with a growing interest in Thai food. Notably, Chef Cares has entered the American market by partnering with Bellisio Foods to sell Chocolate-Dipped Mango Sticks at Costco stores across the U.S., where the product has gained popularity on social media. Discussions are ongoing to broaden this sales network to other global Costco locations.
Mrs. Marisa stated that the primary objective of participating in THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025 is not only to drive export revenue under the Chef Cares brand but also to promote Thai food’s soft power globally. This initiative aims to generate income for the production sector, particularly benefiting Thai farmers, and enhancing their quality of life. Chef Cares remains committed to its social mission by reinvesting 100% of its profits back into society to support vulnerable communities and drive sustainability in the food chain.
