Chinese Premier Li Keqiang Meets Thai King in Beijing

Beijing: Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun during an official visit to the People’s Republic of China.

According to Thai News Agency, Li emphasized the close relationship between China and Thailand, likening it to a family bond. He expressed China’s willingness to maintain high-level exchanges with Thailand, deepen their good-neighborly relations, and support each other firmly. Li focused on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation to achieve significant outcomes in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future, aiming to provide greater benefits to the peoples of both nations.

Mr. Li also underscored the importance of mutual economic support between the two countries. He stated that China is prepared to continue expanding bilateral trade and two-way investment with Thailand. Additionally, he highlighted the potential for cooperation in emerging areas such as the green economy, artificial intelligence (AI), and spaceflight.

The geographical proximity and cultural connections between China and Thailand present opportunities to enhance exchanges and cooperation in fields like culture and tourism, providing a solid foundation for the friendship between the two peoples.
