Sa kaeo: The Governor of Sa Kaeo has mandated the provincial land office to accelerate the process of issuing title deeds to the villagers of Nong Chan. In an effort to address land disputes along the border, a survey team has been dispatched to expedite resolutions.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Parinya Phothisat, the Governor of Sa Kaeo Province, has collaborated with various agencies, including the Provincial Land Office, the Forestry Department, and the Agricultural Land Reform Office (ALRO), to address land issues in Ban Nong Chan. The governor has urged citizens to submit their land ownership documents for verification, aiming to prepare land title deeds for residents of Ban Nong Chan and Ban Kut Phue. These areas are located near the Thai-Cambodian border, specifically around Boundary Markers 46-47, with the intention of ensuring prompt issuance of land title deeds.
Villagers have submitted their existing title deeds, such as NS2, SK1, and NS3, to officials for screening under the urgent policy. To facilitate swift resolution of land issues along the border, the province plans to deploy survey teams in three groups, focusing on areas from Aranyaprathet, Khok Sung, and Ta Phraya districts. This initiative has been met with enthusiasm from the local residents.
