Khlong Hat Task Force Confirms Continued Permanent Closure of Ban Khao Din Checkpoint

Khlong hat: The Khlong Hat Task Force confirmed the permanent closure of the Ban Khao Din checkpoint, with no entry or exit allowed by persons or vehicles, following the spread of a misleading video on social media.

According to Thai News Agency, a misleading 1.34-minute clip circulated on social media this morning (September 2nd), falsely implying that the Ban Khao Din permanent checkpoint was operating normally. This video had the potential to mislead the public. In response, the Khlong Hat Task Force of the 1303rd Ranger Company clarified that the unit was complying with the First Army Area (Special) Order No. 944/2568. This order regulates the opening and closing of all types of border crossings along the Thai-Cambodian border in Sa Kaeo Province and has been effective since July 23, 2568, continuing to the present.

The Khlong Hat Task Force clearly confirmed that there has been no entry or exit of persons or vehicles through the Ban Khao Din permanent border crossing.
