Paethongtarn Shinawatra Addresses Public After Court-Ordered Removal

Bangkok: Paethongtarn Shinawatra has expressed her gratitude to the people following her recent departure from the Prime Minister position. She thanked citizens for allowing her the opportunity to serve the nation.

According to Thai News Agency, the Constitutional Court’s decision to remove Paethongtarn from office was based on an audio clip of her conversation with Samdech Hun Sen. The court’s verdict was delivered yesterday, prompting her immediate response to the public today.

Paethongtarn shared a post from Voice TV, which included her statement acknowledging the court’s decision. She conveyed her appreciation, stating, “I would like to thank the people for giving the government the opportunity to work proudly for the country over the past nearly a year. From now on, the government will bring opportunities back to the people.”
