Kanchanaburi: Pheu Thai Party has dispatched Nattawut and Adisorn to deliver speeches in support of the Kanchanaburi by-election, aiming to send General Shinawatra to Parliament as a check against monopolistic political systems.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chanin Rungthanakiat, deputy spokesperson for the Pheu Thai Party, addressed the by-election for the MP in Constituency 4, Kanchanaburi Province. This election comes after Mr. Sakda Wichiensin resigned from the Pheu Thai Party to take a ministerial role in the Anutin government. The party has mobilized a team of leaders and notable MPs, including Mr. Nattawut Saikua and Mr. Adisorn Piangket, to support candidates in the campaign’s final phase. The team will engage with citizens across all sub-districts and hold regular speeches before the election slated for October 19th.
Mr. Chanin emphasized that General Chinnawat Mandech, a former deputy commander of the Fourth Army Region, is the chosen candidate for this by-election. As a native of Kanchanaburi, General Dr. Chinnawat is expected to gain the community’s trust to represent them as a Pheu Thai MP, focusing on scrutinizing national and local interests in Parliament.
Furthermore, Mr. Chanin expressed the party’s confidence that the election would serve as a strong voice for the people of Kanchanaburi District 4, reaffirming their support for the Pheu Thai Party. He stressed that the district’s residents do not endorse monopolistic politics or the influential Blue Network that has permeated various organizations. The Pheu Thai Party aims to demonstrate its commitment to balancing power and encourages the people to participate in the by-election on Sunday, October 19th, to showcase their collective strength.
