According to Thai News Agency, At 5:30 PM at Government House, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, acting as Prime Minister, addressed rumors that the People’s Party had voted to support Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, for prime minister. He stated, “It’s not true. They just informed me that it’s not true. There was no appointment, no meeting. How can you go and say something so vague that the People’s Party has already said it?”
