Bangkok: Police have announced significant progress in the Wat Phra Bat Nam Phu case, revealing that evidence is being gathered and wrongdoing has been discovered. Authorities expect that someone will soon face prosecution.

According to Thai News Agency, Police Colonel Anek Taosuphap, Deputy Commander of the Crime Suppression Division, disclosed the ongoing developments at Wat Phra Bat Nam Phu. The investigation remains in the evidence-gathering phase, which has already unveiled instances of wrongdoing. Colonel Anek anticipates that more than one individual will be prosecuted shortly.
