Aranyaprathet: The Prime Minister will visit the Aranyaprathet border, opposite Poipet, tomorrow to listen to problems and suggestions, and give encouragement to officials on duty and local people.
According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, spokesman of the Prime Minister’s Office, revealed that Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, will be accompanied by Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, Secretary-General to the Prime Minister, and other key officials. The delegation will visit Sa Kaeo Province at 10:00 a.m.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Aranyaprathet School, where she will chair a meeting to discuss the impact of measures to open and close the Thai-Cambodian border checkpoint. The meeting will take place at the school’s meeting room, where a briefing on the border situation, trade, agricultural products, and efforts to combat call center gangs and transnational crimes will be provided by relevant government agencies.
Later, the Prime Minister will visit the Ban Khlong Luek border checkpoint in Aranyaprathet, Sa Kaeo Province, to monitor the situation at the border and engage with local people and business owners. She will also encourage officials working in the area.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister plans to visit Ban Dong Ngu in the Aranyaprathet Subdistrict to meet with military officers, students, and teachers at the Border Patrol Police School Pracharat Bamrung 1. She will also offer support to the Volunteer Defense Corps officers at the Aranyaprathet District Office.
Throughout this visit, the Prime Minister aims to understand the problems, suggestions, and needs of the area, highlighting the government’s focus on the safety and well-being of people and officials in border regions. The government is committed to implementing timely and appropriate measures to enhance security and economic stability in these areas.
