Bangkok: A young man driving a songthaew was arrested for shooting and killing his wife’s lover in front of her apartment building in the Rama 2 area. The incident occurred after the driver, identified as Mr. Siva, discovered his wife was having an affair with Mr. Anucha, a friend who also drove a songthaew.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Siva confessed to the crime during questioning at Tha Kham Police Station. He claimed he acted in a fit of rage upon discovering the affair, which led to his breakup with his wife. CCTV footage captured the moment Mr. Anucha was shot seven times in front of the apartment building on Soi Tha Kham 6, Rama 2 Road, in the Bang Khun Thian District.

Mr. Siva stated that prior to the shooting, Mr. Anucha had threatened his wife with a gun and used insulting language towards her. The situation escalated when Mr. Siva saw Mr. Anucha driving his motorcycle to the apartment, which led to an argument and ultimately, the fatal shooting.
