Suchart Cites National Thai Language Day Duties for Cabinet Meeting Absence

Bangkok: Minister Suchart explained that he took leave from a special Cabinet meeting due to work on National Thai Language Day 2025. He has already submitted a resignation letter. Reporters noted that after Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, acting as the Prime Minister, announced the special Cabinet meeting on August 30th, seven ministers requested to be absent from the meeting. Among them was Mr. Suchart Tancharoen, Minister to the Prime Minister's Office, who requested to be absent from the special Cabinet meeting.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Suchart's leave request has been revealed, having already submitted a letter of absence from the Cabinet meeting due to his duties as chairperson of the 2025 National Thai Language Day ceremony, organized by the Royal Society at the Aswin Grand Convention Hotel on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, for which an appointment had already been made.
