Bangkok: Suphajee Suthumpun, Executive Director and Group CEO of Dusit Thani Public Company Limited, has officially joined the Bhumjaithai Party and is set to be introduced to Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul this afternoon. She arrived at the party headquarters wearing a navy blue suit, smiling and greeting the media before heading inside for discussions.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Suphajee, in her role as Minister of Commerce, reached the Bhumjaithai Party’s headquarters at 1:20 PM to meet with Prime Minister Anutin. The meeting is expected to discuss her future role within the Anutin 1 Cabinet, where Mr. Anutin will introduce himself as the prospective Minister of Commerce.

Ms. Suphajee did not provide any statements to the press upon her arrival, choosing instead to smile and acknowledge the gathered media. Her entrance into the Bhumjaithai Party has been closely watched, particularly due to her notable background and experience in the economic and professional sectors. In recent days, she has drawn attention as one of the cabinet ministers under scrutiny, given her status as a high-profile outsider.
