Bangkok: Thai stocks closed down 24.31 points as the Stock Exchange of Thailand ended the trading day at 1,082.42 points, marking a decrease of 2.20%. The total trading value registered was 38,598.23 million baht.

According to Thai News Agency, the stock index remained in negative territory throughout the trading session. The index closed at its lowest point of the day at 1,078.57 points, after reaching a high of 1,104.92 points earlier in the day. The day's trading saw 125 securities advance, 337 securities decline, and 188 securities remain unchanged.
