Bangkok: The “War Elephants,” Thailand’s senior national football team, are intensifying their training sessions under the guidance of Japanese head coach Masatada Ishii, as they prepare for two pivotal matches on FIFA Day. The training is concentrated on physical conditioning and game strategy reviews, essential for their upcoming challenges.

According to Thai News Agency, the team has assembled 23 players at the Novotel Future Park Rangsit Hotel, led by ‘Captain Jay’ Chanathip Songkrasin. The team also includes J-League forwards Jeronsak Wongkorn and Ekanit Panya. However, due to injuries, players Supachok Sarachat and Sasalak Haiprakhon have withdrawn, with Chanarong Promsrikaew and Chanon Thamma stepping in as replacements.
