Wildlife Protection Officer Missing After Lottery Ticket Sales

Uthai thani: A mother is grieving after her son, a wildlife sanctuary officer at Huai Thap Salao Wildlife Sanctuary, mysteriously disappeared three days after leaving his shift to sell lottery tickets. She has not been able to contact him until now.

According to Thai News Agency, Ms. Jamras, 57, a resident of Bueng Charoen Village, has provided CCTV footage to the media to assist in locating her son, Mr. Ekkachat, 39. He is an employee of the Huai Thap Sala Wildlife Sanctuary and has been missing for three days without a trace.

On September 7th, CCTV footage captured Mr. Ekkachat setting up his lottery ticket stall at his mother’s grocery store before departing on a red motorcycle. Later, on September 11th, another camera recorded him riding a green motorcycle with Bangkok registration 1 Kor 6709 to a gas station in the community. After this, he could not be reached. His son’s green motorcycle is considered a key clue in the disappearance.

Ms. Jamras confirmed that her son left work around noon on September 11th, informing coworkers that he planned to sell lottery tickets near the Ang Huai Dong pier in Lan Sak District. Following this, the family was unable to contact him and filed a report at the Lan Sak Police Station. Mr. Ekkachat typically resides with his wife in Chum Ta Bong District, Nakhon Sawan Province, and spends his free time selling lottery tickets. His wife stated that he has not returned home, intensifying concerns. Despite efforts by officials and rescue workers from Uthai Thani Province, no traces or leads have been found in their three-day search.
