Jatuporn Prompan Condemns Pheu Thai Party Amid Persistent Rain

Bangkok: Despite heavy rain, Jatuporn reiterates his stance against a Pheu Thai Party prime minister. The Ruam Phalang Phaendin mob continued their rally despite the downpour. Meanwhile, Jatuporn reiterated his stance against the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, saying it would prevent the Thai-Cambodian conflict from resolving. He also expressed his concern for the People's Party, saying, "Not voting for anyone is the same as voting for Pheu Thai."

According to Thai News Agency, people joining the "United Power of the Land, Protect Sovereignty" rally at Victory Monument continued to hold their protest despite heavy rain falling since 3:00 PM and continuing for hours. Meanwhile, on stage, leaders took turns giving speeches to the political parties forming the new government. They stated that the people no longer want the Pheu Thai Party in power. They also stated that the successor must be someone who will cause the least damage to the nation.

In addition to Dr. Tul Sitthisomwong, the keynote speaker this afternoon, today's highlight, starting at 8:00 PM, will be Dr. Jessada Tonawanik, Mr. Nitithorn Lamluea (Lawyer Nokhao), and Mr. Jatuporn Prompan, who will be the last speaker.

Jatuporn Prompan, a key leader who arrived at the rally around 4:00 PM, revealed that today's rally was a show of strength and a statement of his stance against the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, as it would perpetuate the problems. The Thai-Cambodian conflict would never end. Negotiations would not end, nor would the war end. The situation would drag on, similar to the unrest in the three southern border provinces. He added that the Pheu Thai Party should take responsibility by not fielding a candidate, but as politicians clinging to power, they have failed to do so.

He reiterated the core stance of the Ruam Palang Phaendin Defend Sovereignty group, which is to reject any Pheu Thai Party candidate and not support any particular party. As for the People's Party, it is their right and freedom to vote for anyone, provided they swear by the people. If the constitution is to be amended, Chapters 1 and 2 must not be touched. The 2000 and 2001 MOUs signed with Cambodia must be repealed, and laws related to national treason must be repealed. This includes the draft amendment to the Property Rights Act, which extends real estate leases from 30 to 99 years, the Entertainment Complex Act, which allows for casinos, and the draft Financial Business Centralization Act. Therefore, whoever becomes prime minister within the next four months, accepting these conditions and not causing further damage is sufficient.

Meanwhile, he also addressed the People's Party, stating that a meeting scheduled for 1:00 PM tomorrow would be held. If they vote for Chaikasem Nitisiri, the Pheu Thai Party's prime ministerial candidate, they would face the actions of the Ruam Palang Phaendin Defend Sovereignty group. If they vote for Anutin Charnvirakul from the Bhumjaithai Party, they would have to comply with the six conditions previously announced by the Ruam Palang Phaendin Defend Sovereignty group. If they don't vote for anyone, it would be considered the People's Party's support for the Pheu Thai Party, as not voting would result in Pheu Thai remaining as acting prime minister. This is a matter of concern.
