Royally Bestowed House Delivered to Family of Fallen Sergeant Major

Buriram: The family of Police Sergeant Major Theerayut Krajangthong is grateful to receive a royally bestowed house. The family of Police Sergeant Major Theerayut Krajangthong expressed their deep gratitude for His Majesty the King’s gracious support in facilitating the construction of a new home. This gesture was made possible through the collaboration of the Royal Thai Army, the government, the private sector, and royal volunteers, honoring the sacrifices of brave soldiers who have defended national sovereignty.

According to Thai News Agency, Mr. Chamroen Waenphet, Deputy Governor of Buriram Province, recently led a group to deliver prefabricated houses, equipped with essential amenities such as electrical systems and bathrooms. This initiative was undertaken in response to the concern expressed by His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen for military personnel. The construction of the house was specifically for the family of Sergeant Major Theerayut Krajangthong, a 22-year-old gunner from the 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion, 2nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment, Suranaree Camp, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Sergeant Major Theerayut lost his life defending national sovereignty during unrest along the Thai-Cambodian border on July 28th.

Prior to this, the family lived in challenging conditions without access to electricity or running water. Sergeant Major Theerayut had aspired to join the military and save money to build a house for his parents, aiming to improve their quality of life. Unfortunately, he passed away while serving his duty.

The construction of the house was sponsored by Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, and the home was delivered to Sergeant Major Theerayut’s parents, Mr. Kimdaeng and Mrs. Tin Krajangthong.

The parents expressed their gratitude for the kindness shown by His Majesty the King in providing a house for their family. They also shared their pride in their son’s commitment to defending the nation until his final moments.
