In aftermath of fire incident, which destroyed 220 homes occupied by 660 households or 2,020 people, last Sunday morning in RW 05, Krukut Urban Village, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.
As a leader who cares about his citizens, Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan officially gave personal aid worth Rp 100 million through RW chairman for fire victims living in RT 02, 03, 04, 05, 07, 08, 09, 10, and 13.
On that occasion, he also reviewed and had dialogue with fire victims in the refugee camps, precisely in Jami Al-Aman Mosque, Al-Ikhlas Mosque, as well as tents set up by Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) and Social Agency.
"We urge them to always be optimistic and believe that Jakarta Provincial Government will provide the necessary aid," he disclosed, Monday (3/18).
Aside that, local urban village and sub-district heads were assigned to make data collection and ensure aid for citizens.
"So please make sure you are healthy and have enough rest," he expressed.
As for the information, the city government has prepared emergency aid and set up public kitchens, as well as intends to inject donation by Rp 2.5 million for renovating burnt houses.
